Foreign Material Detection
X-Ray Inspection Service
Using the latest in X-ray technology, SafeScan combines algorithms with human verification to identify foreign material contamination in a variety of products. Our X-ray inspection service can detect contaminants down to 0.8mm and smaller including metal, glass, ceramics, plastics and rubber.
All product with contaminants is isolated in accordance with customer protocol, while clean product that passes inspection is reloaded for distribution.
Reporting
Contaminant Retrieval
Upon completion of X-ray inspection, our contaminant retrieval team will physically dissect your product by hand, extracting and recovering any contaminants.
Contaminants will be measured, catalogued and compiled into the Inspection Report to better help you understand and resolve your contamination problem.
Warehousing
Product Storage
Where appropriate, SafeScan offers short-term storage for products undergoing inspection. This allows customers to schedule delivery and drop-off for an entire project at once. After processing, customers can schedule pickup and final distribution for the entire project – saving time and money on transportation.
Long-term warehousing and dry storage services are also available on a limited basis and include inventory management, pick and loading.
